Many organizations rely on Melissa Wood for her business expertise in a wide variety of industries. She has proven herself to be versatile by assuming multiple roles and duties within the organization. Melissa believes in working

At i2., Mrs. Wood serves as the self-motivated Business Manager, responsible for all day-to-day operations and overall efficiency of the organization. As a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), she actively coordinates and directs professional arrangements and manages client proposals & contracts. Her versatility also allows her to tackle the implementation of new processes and procedures to improve the organization’s bottom line. She manages all accounting functions, including payroll, invoicing, accounts payable and receivables, budgeting and forecasting. Prior to joining i2., Melissa's diverse background in recruiting, accounting, supporting upper level executives, and operations & business management allows her to be highly adaptive. Her organizational skills and detail-oriented approach has allowed her to provide top-notch service to clients, and maintain long, successful relationships with them. Melissa has worked diligently on and actively pursues professional development opportunities. She is passionate about the professional development of her direct reports, while also encouraging open communication within the team, which is the foundation of a high performing team. Melissa earned her Associates Degree in Arts, while maintaining a strong GPA. She also has certificates in conversational Spanish, I-9 Compliance, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and beginner’s designing. Although Melissa’s spare time is primarily consumed with playing softball, she somehow manages to find time to shoot pool, play the electric guitar, ride the Polaris Rzr and boating |
